BlueSky Most Recommended Private Jet Caterer of the Year 2011

BlueSky is privileged to be supported by some of the world's  top private jet catering companies.

Whether they're working for a Hollywood star or a Head of State, the world of the celebrity chef means little to them; yet these talented 'backroom' boys and girls consistently turn out exquisite food that would grace any Michelin-starred restaurant. Your high net worth passengers won't tolerate anything less than perfection when it comes to catering and the chef knows that as well as ruining your trip, a mistake could ruin his business.

Spare a thought also for the logistics of running a 24/7 catering operation; maintaining up to three kitchen brigades plus a fleet of delivery vehicles, stringent Health & Safety regulations, Government and Airport Authority security compliance - not to mention Icelandic ash clouds that can shut you down for days on end! And, unlike his restaurant counterpart, the private jet caterer never hears the words, "our compliments to the chef," from his customers.

The BlueSky team has come to know some of these companies well and we'd like to know about your favourite caterer so that we can share your recommendations with our readers.

Simply tell us where they are in the world and what sets them apart from the rest - and we'll publish your comments. Maybe they've earned your admiration by going 'above and beyond the call of duty', or helped you out of a tight fix?

Last year's winners: Derek Freeman, Managing Director of UK-based Bon Soirée Executive Aviation Catering and Paula Kraft, CEO of Tastefully Yours, Atlanta GA., receiving the European & North America awards respectively in London last March.

We're not judging their culinary expertise; we're not qualified to do so. This is about customer service, professionalism and reliability. If you're taking the trouble to nominate your caterer, we think it follows that the standard of their cuisine and the quality of their produce adequately meets your, or your company's, criteria.

Every catering company nominated will be name-checked upon publication of the results and the overall winner will be presented with the BlueSky Most Recommended Private Jet Caterer Of The Year 2011 trophy.

The closing date for nominations is the 31st March 2012. The winner will be announced during the 12th Annual EBACE Convention in Geneva, Switzerland, 14-16th May 2012.
