From Brazil to Leeds: Bill Minkoff and Rob Posselt's 10,000 mile Phenom delivery Acceptance and delivery specialist, JetQuik, has just delivered the latest Embraer Phenom 100, Serial Number 92, to a customer in the United Kingdom. Partnering with Jet Solutions Europe, Ltd., JetQuik collaborated to ensure the smooth acceptance and delivery of this exceptional airplane from Embraer Executive Jets. The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 are assembled in Embraer’s modern facility located in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil, approximately 45 minutes (by air) north of their main campus in Sao Jose dos Campos, SP, Brazil. The aircraft are assembled and test-flown in “Gavião” and then flown to SJ dos Campos for customer acceptance and delivery. Working with Rob Posselt of Jet Solutions Europe, Ltd. Bill Minkoff of JetQuik was joined by a first rate delivery team headed by Luciana Garzon of Embraer. Delivery Specialist Elena Tateishi provided detailed event coordination. The latest Phenom, registered in Isle of Man as M-PHNM, was delivered to a private owner in Leeds, England. The epic 10,000 mile,12-leg, trip from Brazil to Leeds took Bill and Rob from the warmth of the tropics to 'the land of the midnight sun'.
"The aircraft performed flawlessly and was a pleasure to fly," said Bill Minkoff. "We encountered storms on many legs of the trip including tropical convergence in Brazil and Guyana as well as a major winter storm from Ft. Lauderdale in the states all the way to Iceland. Much of the North Atlantic is dark during the month of December so pictures are limited. We timed our visit to Greenland to coincide with their limited daylight. We were in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland during their mid-day but the sun never rose above the mountain tops."
Built by Embraer Executive Jets, the widely successful Phenom 100 has been joined by the Embraer Phenom 300 as a cost-effective practical light jet. In announcing the recent certification of the Phenom 300, Embraer continues to build the heritage of the Executive Jet family which ultimately will include the Phenom 100 and 300, the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 as well as the Legacy 600 and 650.
